Our staff believes that its most important function is to encourage and increase chapter membership. We can help your invitees learn more about HKN and see the benefits of membership. Personal e-mail correspondence from our office to invitees will encourage them to accept this invitation to membership.
In addition, the HKN headquarters' staff will provide administrative support to chapters by doing the following:
- Answering questions about membership eligibility
- Providing suggestions and support for pledge activities and Induction Rituals
- Producing membership certificates for Induction Rituals
- Offering information to chapters about Student Chapter Projects
- Providing information on the Outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Award
- Providing honor cords and stoles for use at graduation
Materials for a chapter's Web page on the HKN site, such as recent activities, awards recognition, and inductions are approved and posted by our staff.
Chapter officers and Faculty Advisors are encouraged to let the HKN headquarters' staff assist them in increasing membership and ensuring that their chapter is a valuable asset to their ECE department.
